A few highlights: the majority of the big credit cards have contracts that give them the right to impose mandatory punitive interest rates if you are so much as one day day on any payment. Citibank (at least at the time of writing) awarded themselves the right to impose punitive fees if you were late on other credit cards accounts. The majority of credit cards have eliminated grace periods, and the deadline is usually 9:00 AM so you won’t get an extra day of mail delivery. I think I’m going to write an expose of this.
