Divorce and Gender of Children

Steven Landsburg on how the gender of a child affects probability of divorce. Apparently when parents have a boy, they are less likely to get divorced. This is one of those counterintuitive things (girls cause less problems, are better students, live longer) that makes me think other things are at work. But What?
