Greencine’s David Hudson wonders why nobody has done a decent cover of a Beatles song. I actually enjoyed some of the covers from the ill-fated movie of Seargent Pepper. Earth, Wind and Fire’s Got to Get You into my Life, baby!

William Shatner plays 20,000 Pyramid against himself. See also his reaction at the gameshow when he accidentally says the word he’s supposed to be describing (“Things that are blessed”). See also his surprising rendition of Elton John’s son, Rocket Man. It’s supposed to be a semi-joke, but Shatner does a surprisingly good interpretation of it.

Speaking of Shatner, his guest appearances on the sitcom 3rd Rock from the Sun as the Big Giant Head are classic.
