Have you ever heard of Nanowrimo (the National Novel Writing month)?
It’s a competition for writers to try to write a 50,000+ word novel in one month. I’ve always viewed the project with a combination of amusement and disdain, but this month I decided to try it. It starts on November 1 and ends November 30.
In addition to writing the novel, I’ll be keeping a weblog diary of my writing progress.
Feel free to take a peek at this diary during the month of November.
The name of my novel is “Fascinating Screwdrivers.” This novel is the life story of a man who collects crazy things.
Of course, the novel (plus the website) will be put under a creative commons license
That means you are free to share it if you want (and not be locked up).
I hesitate to characterize it any more, because frankly I have no idea how the novel will turn out until November 30.
I’m writing the novel under the pseudonym “Thurston Borgraves”.
