National Preparedness Month

Bob Harris breaks the news that Tom Ridge is planning a National Preparedness Month in September, which coincidentally is right before the election. Surely politicians can’t be deaf to the juxtaposition of these kinds of events with election calendars, but I’d hate to see officials delay worthy events merely out of the fear of playing politics.
