Here’s a web-only version of Cather’s “My Antonia.” by openbook Jon Noring. Noring started with a TEI/TEI-Lite document and outputted it as xhtml. From looking at the source, you can see that print pages and individual paragraphs are given id’s for hyperlinks.

Here’s an anti-piracy strategy for sci fi authors: release defective versions in the wild, and then drive people to more authoritative ebooks.

I’ve volunteered to do proofreading for the distributed proofreading project. After training lasting 30 minutes (which is not a piece of cake, btw), you can proofread random pages from 19th century books. Here’s a download link to their custom font to make it easier to detect scan errors.
